Google Website Optimizer

First reported by Timothy Seward at ROI Revolution, Google has announced the launch of the Google Website Optimizer, which will allow marketers to test the effectiveness of landing pages through multi-variate testing. Looks like it is targeted at improving the conversion rate of Adwords campaigns, but I don’t see any reason why it couldn’t be used for other campaigns. Of course, it’s free, but signups are by invitation only at this point.
